Adaptogenialna

Adaptogenialna is a brand of Sport Armour from Tychy that adds extracts from mushrooms and adaptogenic plants to coffee, chocolate, and cocoa. The offer also includes drops with ashwagandha and creatine with mushroom extracts. Instead of capsules, you get a portion measured in a cup or with a pipette.

Two coffee series: Adaptogenius and Adaptogenialna

On the shelf, there are two series from the same producer side by side, and they are not the same products under two names. Adaptogenius is a newer line, with a different formula, in a black tube with a golden monogram AG. The older series Adaptogenialna has an illustration of an owl on the tube and the composition listed by percentage.

Adaptogenius has seven flavors: classic, caramel, coconut, almond, mocha, hazelnut, and bourbon vanilla. Each is available as ground and instant coffee, always in a 100 g tube.

What is in a portion of coffee

A portion of ground coffee Adaptogenius is 10 g, of which 5150 mg is coffee with 129 mg of caffeine. The rest consists of 10:1 extracts from lion’s mane, reishi, cordyceps, and chaga, as well as rhodiola, citicoline, bacopa, L-theanine, and L-tyrosine.

In the coffees, sweetness comes from powdered multifloral honey and dried dates, without artificial sweeteners. In the older series, arabica makes up 57% of the portion. The 10:1 notation indicates the ratio of raw material to extract, not the content of specific compounds.

Ground or instant

A tube of ground coffee contains 10 portions of 10 g, while the instant one has 20 portions from the same 100 g, so the portion of instant coffee is smaller. You brew ground coffee in a French press, in a pour-over, or in a brewer. Instant coffee just needs to be poured with water.

The producer recommends water at a temperature of 93-96 °C, without boiling. They also do not recommend a pressure coffee maker, as high temperatures can weaken the active ingredients of the mushroom extracts. Do not exceed the recommended daily portion stated on the packaging.

Chocolate, cocoa, and drops

Hot chocolate Adaptogenialna is Belgian milk chocolate with extracts from mushrooms, bacopa, and rhodiola, in a 100 g package for 10 portions of 10 g. The cocoa contains oat milk, so only water is needed for preparation.

Ashwagandha in drops comes in a 50 ml bottle with a pipette, with an extract standardized to 9% withanolides and piperine from black pepper. There are four variants: natural, caramel, vanilla, and mango, which differ only in aroma.

Under this brand, you will also find Mushroom Creatine from Sport Armour: with cordyceps in a 553 g package or with lion’s mane in a 558 g package. Each portion contains 5000 mg of creatine monohydrate.
