Here are parts that wear out faster than the device itself: screens, seals, and mouthpieces. Next to them are dosing capsules and magazines, which are accessories for preparing portions of herb in advance.

This is not a category of devices. Each item assumes that you already have a vaporizer and are looking for a replacement part or an addition that will change the way you conduct your session.

How to choose a part for your model

Compatibility is more important here than material or price. Small parts are selected based on the model of the device, not by appearance in the photo, because two screens of the same brand can fit in completely different places of the equipment.

For each item, we write where the list of compatible devices comes from. Some of them are confirmed only by the distributor, as accessory manufacturers often do not maintain public product pages.

If your model is not on the list, do not assume compatibility. This is a rare case where the lack of confirmation really means a lack of confirmation, not a minor oversight in the description.

Screen, mouthpiece, or complete set

The choice depends on what exactly has worn out:

• a clogged or deformed mesh is a screen, sometimes together with a seal
• a broken glass tube is a mouthpiece, sold separately
• lost entire top part is a set with a mouthpiece, screen, and seal

A set costs more than just the mesh, so it is worth first determining which element has failed. The most common symptom of a worn screen is a weakening flow when inhaling.

Dosing capsules and magazines

A capsule is a small container into which you pour a portion of herb before the session. Instead of pouring loose and cleaning the chamber every time, you replace the entire capsule with the next one.

A magazine is a case for several capsules at once. Sometimes its middle slot also serves as a funnel when filling, so you prepare portions in batches at home.

Be cautious about two things when purchasing. First, some manufacturers describe capsules as reusable, while others as intended for single use. Second, a set with a magazine and the supply of capsules is a separate item.

Original part vs compatible part

On the shelf with accessories, there are two types of items side by side, and it is worth distinguishing them. Some come from the device manufacturer, while others are from the accessory manufacturer designed to be compatible with popular models.

Neither of these paths is inherently better. The difference is practical: with a compatible part, the list of compatible devices is usually provided by the distributor, not the equipment manufacturer, so the source of confirmation is the commercial description.

It also happens that the device manufacturer has its own equivalent of the same part, with a different catalog number and different construction. Two similar items can therefore describe two different objects.

That is why for each item, we write which data comes from the distributor and which from the manufacturer. When sources provide different information, we record both versions instead of choosing the more convenient one.

Safety and storage

All items in this category are intended for devices for adults. Store them out of reach of children.

Always replace parts on a cold device. Steel and glass retain heat longer than the casing, so the mouthpiece can still burn even when the body is already cool.

Spare small items are easiest to lose, so keep them together with the device or in a case. Moisture especially harms cardboard and rubber elements.

How to know when to replace the screen?

The most common symptom is weaker flow when inhaling despite cleaning. Residue from the session accumulates on the mesh, and it is responsible for the resistance during the draw. A deformed or broken mesh qualifies for replacement immediately, regardless of how long it has been installed.

Why does one device have two different screens?

Because they are used in two ways. A vaporizer with a standard mouthpiece uses one screen, while the same model with a glass mouthpiece, bubbler, or bong adapter uses another. They fit in different places of the equipment, so it is worth checking which way you are using your device before ordering.

Do parts from one brand fit devices from another?

Sometimes yes, but only if confirmed by the description of a specific item. Accessory manufacturers design them for specific diameters, and the lists of models can be surprising, as they include equipment from several brands at once. Besides the confirmed list, check the dimensions on your own before ordering.

Are dosing capsules reusable?

It depends on the manufacturer, and that is why we write about it for each item separately. Some describe capsules as reusable provided they are regularly cleaned, while others as intended for single use. The material does not determine this issue, so we follow what the manufacturer states.
