Herbal blends are ready-made compositions of several dried plants in fixed proportions. In this category, you will find blends for vaporizers, loose blends for brewing, and sachets for aromatherapy. Before choosing a flavor, check the intended use, as the manufacturer assigns a specific application to each composition.

For vaporizer or for a cup

The Harmony Blends have 20 g packaging and are intended exclusively for vaporization. The manufacturer emphasizes that they are not for brewing or consumption. You need a vaporizer with temperature control, as each composition has its own range.

The loose blends DivineGoods, Ciepło Duszy, and Dla Kobiet come in 100 g packaging and are meant for brewing an infusion. The portion is two teaspoons of dried herbs per 200 ml of boiling water, and the infusion should steep covered for 10 to 15 minutes. All you need is a cup and a strainer or infuser.

The third group consists of sachets for aromatherapy, for example, a blend of seven plants in a 20 g package. A list of plants is provided, but without proportions.

Five compositions of Harmony Blends

Each blend in this line consists of three herbs in weight proportions specified by the manufacturer. They differ in profile and recommended temperature:

• blend with mint and rosemary: mint 40%, rosemary 30%, raspberry leaf 30%, 170-180 °C, cool and dry profile
• Easy Mood: lemon balm 40%, mint 30%, lavender 30%, 150-160 °C, floral-herbal profile
• Silent Night: hops 40%, chamomile 30%, lavender 30%, 170-180 °C, earthy profile with a floral finish
• Vital Flow: mint 40%, sage 30%, thyme 30%, 180-190 °C, dry and spicy profile
• Wild Desire: rosemary 40%, damiana 40%, raspberry leaf 20%, 160-180 °C, dark and slightly spicy profile

The manufacturer declares that the blends do not contain cannabinoids or nicotine, and the product is legal and subject to excise duty. Contraindications include pregnancy, breastfeeding, and allergy to any of the ingredients.

Loose blends for infusion

Ciepło Duszy consists of seven ingredients: ginger, fennel, rosemary, licorice, cinnamon, lemongrass, and anise. The infusion is spicy and naturally sweet, as the sweetness comes from licorice, and there is no sugar or sweetener in the composition.

Dla Kobiet combines five Polish herbs: white dead-nettle, lemon balm, lemongrass, common yarrow, and common shepherd’s purse. Lemon balm makes up 20% of the composition, and according to the manufacturer, the package lasts about 30 days with one portion per day. The flavor is lemony, with a bitter background from yarrow and shepherd’s purse.

Both blends are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without prior consultation with a doctor. Licorice from Ciepło Duszy may interact with some medications, so if you are taking medications regularly, consult your doctor or pharmacist first.

How to choose herbal blends

Start with the equipment. If you have a vaporizer with temperature control, choose from Harmony Blends, and if you prefer an infusion, go for DivineGoods blends. Then select the profile: mint provides a cool opening, lavender at 30% is pronounced and may not suit everyone, while thyme and sage pull the composition towards a dry profile.

What to check on the packaging

First, the full list of plants and their proportions. Harmony Blends specify the share of each herb, while Dla Kobiet specifies the share of lemon balm, and the aromatherapy sachets list only the plants. The second thing is the intended use: vaporization, infusion, or aromatherapy.

Frequently asked questions

Can a vaporization blend be brewed?

No. Harmony Blends have one purpose, vaporization, and the manufacturer emphasizes that they are not for brewing or consumption. For infusion, there are loose blends from DivineGoods, which are poured with boiling water. The DivineGoods blend is brewed by adding two teaspoons of dried herbs to 200 ml of boiling water and letting it steep covered for 10-15 minutes.

At what temperature should Harmony Blends be vaporized?

Each has its own range, from 150-160 °C for Easy Mood to 180-190 °C for Vital Flow. Do not transfer settings from one blend to another. If the device does not have smooth adjustment, choose the setting closest to the specified range. The blend with mint and rosemary and Silent Night have 170-180 °C, while Wild Desire has 160-180 °C.

Do the blends contain nicotine or cannabinoids?

The manufacturer of Harmony Blends declares that they contain neither nicotine nor cannabinoids. The composition consists solely of three dried herbs in the specified proportions. The manufacturer also declares legality and excise duty, and contraindications include pregnancy, breastfeeding, and allergy to any of the ingredients.

How long does a package of infusion blend last?

For Dla Kobiet, the manufacturer states about 30 days from a 100 g package with one portion per day. A portion is two teaspoons of dried herbs per 200 ml of boiling water, so with stronger brewing, the herbs will run out faster. The packages of loose DivineGoods blends are 100 g each, and the infusion should steep covered for 10 to 15 minutes.

How to store herbal blends?
