Cannabis shots: bottle, measuring cup, and serving

Babcia Marysia and BombDope sell shots in 150 ml bottles, while Brain Wash comes in 100 ml bottles. The portion is measured with the measuring cup from the set or from the cap. In BombDope, a portion is 2.5 ml, which is half a measuring cup, and the bottle provides 60 servings. In Brain Wash shots with a portion of 2.5 ml, the bottle contains 40 servings.

BombDope’s Rollshot is divided by the manufacturer into about sixty servings. Shake the bottle before each measurement, as the oil separates from the aqueous part of the liquid.

How much hemp oil is in a serving

The basis of the shots described here is oil from hemp seeds, which combines with water using an emulsifier from sunflower lecithin. Babcia Marysia and BombDope Lime and Mojito Shot provide 456 mg of cold-pressed oil per serving. Brain Wash Mango OG and Tropical Burst provide 650 mg of oil per serving.

When comparing shots, check whether the number on the label refers to one serving or the entire bottle, and what it specifically pertains to. For some Brain Wash shots, the number of servings and the content per serving is only provided on the label on the bottle.

Flavors and additives

The flavor is built from juice concentrates, fruit extracts, and aromas. Babcia Marysia combines oil with extracts from aronia, black currant, and blueberry or with acerola, rosehip, and mango. Babcia Marysia, Brain Wash, and BombDope Lime and Mojito Shot are sweetened with erythritol instead of sugar.

Some shots contain additional substances that are worth noting before purchase:

• caffeine and multivitamin concentrate: Brain Wash Zkittlez
• extracts from cola nuts, guarana, and ginseng: Babcia Marysia Orange Juice Golden Energy

Brain Wash Mojito does not have either a colorant or caffeine listed. Do not consume caffeinated shots with other products that are sources of caffeine.

Storage after opening

An opened bottle goes into the refrigerator. Babcia Marysia and BombDope Lime and Mojito Shot should be consumed within 60 days, while Brain Wash within 30 days. Before opening, Babcia Marysia recommends a dry place, a temperature below 30 °C, and protection from light.

The expiration date after opening determines how many servings you will realistically use. With one serving per day, a bottle of Brain Wash lasts longer than a month, but after opening, it has a shorter expiration date.
