Cooling gels contain menthol, camphor, and peppermint oil. Alcohol evaporates from the skin and provides a quick, short coolness, while menthol stimulates cold receptors, so the sensation lasts longer. The cooling finishes are found in CBD Chill, CéBéDé Fortis, and Cannacool, while the gel with horse chestnut combines menthol and camphor for a cool-tingling sensation.

Warming variants are based on chili pepper extract or resin from pepper, and some of them also contain methyl salicylate. If you are allergic to salicylates, choose another product. Cannasex oil has a neutral thermal sensation.

Ointments and Balm with Pump 500 ml

An ointment is an herbal preparation for massage in gel form, rubbed into the skin around muscles, joints, and the back. Palacio has two hemp ointments in 500 ml bottles with a pump: cooling with menthol and warming with chili extract and camphor. In the same bottle, there is a body balm with hemp Forte, with camphor and menthol.

In all three, hemp oil stands alongside an extract of 19 herbs and pine essential oil. The manufacturer states 94.2% of natural ingredients in the ointments. Half a liter with a pump is a home or office format for regular massage.

Ointments and balm Forte are used exclusively externally, on the skin. Camphor, menthol, and chili strongly irritate mucous membranes, so these preparations should not be applied to mucous membranes or intimate areas and are not intimate lubricants. They are also not intended for children under 3 years old.

Capacity and Packaging

The 200 ml tube is a handy format that fits in a gym bag and travels tightly closed. The 600 ml bottle with horse chestnut gel is for home use, for regular massage of larger body areas or for several people. With such a bottle, pour the gel into your hand, not directly onto the skin.

The Palacio line also includes jars of 380 ml and 600 ml, and Cannasex oil comes in a 150 ml bottle with a dispenser.

How to Read the INCI List

The ingredient list is usually arranged in descending order according to content, but the CBD Chill gel has an alphabetical list, so the position on the list says nothing about the share. You can recognize the hemp component by three names: Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil, which is hemp seed oil, Cannabis Sativa Seed Extract, and Cannabidiol.

In Cannacool, the manufacturer states 94.2% of natural ingredients, and in the middle of the list is an extract of 19 herbs. In the gel with horse chestnut, the extract of horse chestnut seeds and a set of essential oils stand out, while in CéBéDé Fortis, there is soy fermentation.

Also check for fragrance allergens such as limonene, linalool, and coumarin, as well as denatured alcohol, which can dry out dry skin.

Safe Use

Before the first massage, apply a small amount of the product to your forearm and wait before using it on a larger area. Do not apply gels, ointments, or oil to damaged or irritated skin, avoid the eye area and mucous membranes, and wash your hands after the massage. The CBD Chill gels, CéBéDé Fortis, and the one with horse chestnut are not intended for children under 3 years old.
