Green Out

Green Out® hemp shots are a line from the brand Dutch Therapy: liquids based on hemp seed oil and juices or cocoa, measured with the included measuring cup. In this category, we have gathered shots and other forms of this line. Below we explain the differences between the series and what to compare on the label before making a choice.

Serving, bottle, and measuring cup

Each Green Out shot is measured with the measuring cup from the set, and one serving is 2.5 ml once a day. A 100 ml bottle contains 40 servings, while a 200 ml bottle from the Shake series contains 80 servings. The manufacturer declares 10 mg of L-theanine per serving, and in most variants, also 80 mg of vitamin C, which is 100% of the nutrient reference value.

The shot is an emulsion of oil with a water base, so the bottle must be shaken before each measurement. Once opened, the bottle goes into the refrigerator and has 30 days for consumption. With a 200 ml bottle and one serving per day, one person will not consume it within this time, so calculate that before purchasing.

Green Out hemp shots: series and amount of oil per serving

The series differ in flavor base and the amount of hemp seed oil per serving. All values are provided by the manufacturer for one serving of 2.5 ml, not for the entire bottle.

• Fresh Bomb LIGHT: four flavors of Fresh Bomb (Forest Fruits, Cola, Bubble Gum, and Citrus Mix) in a version with a smaller amount of oil, 125 mg per serving, meaning 100 ml shots for 40 servings
• Fresh Bomb: base from fruit juices and 500 mg or 650 mg of oil per serving, depending on the variant
• Lemonade: lemonade flavors with 450 mg of oil per serving, and the Energy Drink variant additionally has 5 mg of caffeine
• Shake: 200 ml bottle based on banana and 650 mg of oil per serving
• Choco Bomb: cocoa instead of juice and 650 mg of oil per serving
• The Green Out: 100 ml shots with a terpene profile without the name of a specific strain and 650 mg of phytonutrients per serving

Alongside the regular series, there are editions prepared in collaboration, such as Green Out x Mops Pineapple Strong+, the Winiego shot, or Raspberry Blast with Konopny Buch. The format remains the same: a 100 ml bottle with a measuring cup.

Terpene profile and manufacturer markings

Each variant has a terpene profile on the label named after a well-known cannabis strain, for example, Amnesia Haze in Fresh Bomb Cola or Super Skunk in the Shake series. The manufacturer also divides the variants into three groups: Sativa, Indica, and Hybrid. This marking helps compare variants within the series, but the choice is often determined by the base: juice, lemonade, banana, or cocoa.

What to check on the label

• amount of oil per serving: 125 mg in the LIGHT version and 650 mg in the strongest variants is over a fivefold difference for the same serving
• emulsifier: most variants contain soy lecithins, while Juicy Orange has sunflower lecithin, which is important for soy allergies
• sweetening: in Fresh Bomb Bubble Gum, sweetness comes from the juice base, with no added sugar, while Choco Bomb contains sugar in its composition
• caffeine, which is present in the Lemonade Energy Drink variant
• bottle size in relation to the 30-day term after opening

Other forms and safety

Under the Green Out brand, there are also Green Caps capsules, in a package of 20 capsules with a serving of 1 capsule per day and a gelatin coating. Pure oils come in 10 ml and 20 ml bottles, with a serving of 0.2 ml, or 4 drops. Shots from other manufacturers can be found in the Shots category.

Green Out products are intended solely for adults. The manufacturer does not recommend them during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or when taking any medications. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.

Frequently asked questions

Does 650 mg refer to the entire bottle?

No. The manufacturer provides the amount of hemp seed oil for one serving of 2.5 ml. In a 100 ml bottle, there are 40 such servings, and vitamin C and L-theanine are also counted per serving, not per bottle. The number 650 mg describes the strongest variants, while in the LIGHT version, it is 125 mg per serving.

Which shot to start with?

To start, choose a 100 ml bottle, for example, LIGHT or Lemonade: it contains 40 servings, and once opened, it goes into the refrigerator and has 30 days for consumption. Choose the flavor based on the base: juices in Fresh Bomb and Lemonade, banana in Shake, cocoa in Choco Bomb.

Can the shot be poured into a drink?

The manufacturer recommends drinking the measured serving straight from the measuring cup, that is, from the glass included in the set. One serving is 2.5 ml, and the bottle must be shaken before measuring. Hemp seed oil does not dissolve in water, so part of the serving remains on the walls of the glass.

How to store the shot after opening?

In the refrigerator, and consume the contents within 30 days. Keep the unopened bottle in a dry and dark place, out of reach of children. Shake the bottle before each measurement, as the oil separates from the base. The 200 ml bottle from the Shake series contains 80 servings, so with one serving per day, you will not consume it within 30 days.

Do Green Out shots contain caffeine?

The Lemonade Energy Drink variant contains caffeine: 5 mg per 2.5 ml serving. The other lemonades in this series, Mojito, Lemon Lime, and Frozen Forest Mix, are caffeine-free. Before purchasing, check the label to see if the variant contains caffeine, as only the Energy Drink has it in the Lemonade series. Do not consume the Energy Drink variant with other caffeine-containing products.
