Rolling Papers

In this category, you will find rolling papers in booklets, sets with filters and trays, and rolling papers on a roll. The majority are from the brand Purize, alongside Mascotte, OCB, RAW, and Babcia Marysia. The papers differ in format, material, weight, and what you get with them in the packaging.

Rolling Papers: King Size Slim, King Size, and Roll

The most common format is King Size Slim, which is a long and narrow sheet for rolling with a filter. In OCB Bamboo Slim and Purize Brown, the sheet measures 109 × 44 mm, while in Mascotte Magnetic Brown Slim, it measures 110 × 44 mm.

The basic booklet of Purize King Size contains 32 sheets in King Size format without the Slim designation. The roll paper, like RAW Organic Hemp Rolls with a length of 5 m, can be torn off to any length, so you determine the size of the roll yourself.

Material and Paper Color

Purize makes papers from natural plant fibers, unbleached and chlorine-free. The brown shade is the color of the fiber itself, which is why even the Rainbow edition has brown sheets inside, and the name refers to the series of packaging.

OCB Bamboo Slim has paper made entirely from bamboo, while Babcia Marysia and RAW Organic Hemp papers are made from hemp paper. Mascotte Magnetic Brown Slim is unbleached paper made from non-wood fibers. If you prefer color, there is a pink edition of Purize Pink.

Weight, or Paper Thickness

Weight indicates how much one square meter of paper weighs. Purize, OCB Bamboo Slim, and Mascotte Magnetic Brown Slim papers have a weight of 14 g/m², which means they belong to the thin papers category.

The lower the weight, the less paper participates in burning, and the less you feel it. In comparison, the short white papers from Purize made from recycled paper have a weight of 23 g/m².

Glue and Composition

The adhesive strip in Purize, OCB, Mascotte, and RAW papers is made from gum arabic, also known as acacia gum. Purize Brown and Pink papers have a vegan declaration.

Gum arabic adheres well with a short, even moistening. Over-soaking the strip with water softens it.

Sets with Filters and Trays

If you do not want to buy filters separately, choose a set. OCB Bamboo Slim has 32 papers and 32 cardboard filters in the booklet, while Mascotte Magnetic Brown Slim has 34 papers and 34 cardboard tips in a box that closes with a magnet.

The Babcia Marysia set combines King Size Slim hemp papers, filters, and a folding tray on which you can prepare the roll and collect the leftovers. The tray folds flat, making it easy to take on the go.

For stock, there are Purize packs of 32+10, which means 42 sheets in one booklet, available in Brown, Pink, and Rainbow versions. Purize King Size Ultra Slim can be purchased in a box of 40 packs.

We compare papers, cones, and wraps in the text papers, wraps, or ready cones, and a guide on choosing the size can be found in which papers to choose. Filters and other accessories can be found in the Accessories category.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between King Size and King Size Slim?

King Size Slim is a long, narrow sheet, in OCB Bamboo Slim and Purize Brown measuring 109 × 44 mm. King Size papers without the Slim designation are wider; for example, the limited edition Purize x GM2L Malik Montana has a width of 55 mm.

What does a weight of 14 g/m² mean?

This is the mass of one square meter of paper. The papers Purize, OCB Bamboo Slim, and Mascotte Magnetic Brown Slim have a weight of 14 g/m², which means they are thin paper that feels less in the roll because less paper participates in burning at a lower weight. The short white papers from Purize are thicker, with a weight of 23 g/m².

What are Inside Out papers?

These are Purize King Size Slim papers with the adhesive strip on the outside of the sheet. The roll is made backward, excess paper is torn off after sticking, leaving one layer of paper instead of two. The format, weight, and material are the same as in the classic version.

Why are the papers brown?

Brown papers are unbleached, so they retain the color of the fiber from which they are made. This is the case with Purize and Mascotte Magnetic Brown Slim, while unbleached hemp papers from Loonatic have a greenish tint because of this. Purize makes paper without chlorine, so even the Rainbow edition has brown sheets inside, and its name refers to the series of packaging.

Are the papers vegan?

Purize Brown and Pink papers have a vegan declaration, and their glue is organic gum arabic, also known as acacia gum. The adhesive strip made from gum arabic is also present in OCB, Mascotte, and RAW papers, but we only describe the vegan declaration for Purize, so for other brands, check the description on the specific product card.
