Hemp sprays from the reakiro brand come in 30 ml bottles and are available in full spectrum and broad spectrum versions. They differ in the CBD content per bottle, from 1000 mg to 4500 mg to 6000 mg, and in flavor: peppermint, apple, blood orange, or apple dessert with pudding.

Water-Based or Oil-Based Aerosol

Aerosols with folic acid, vitamin B12, selenium, and melatonin have a water base and a garden mint flavor, without sugar and alcohol. Folic acid, vitamin B12, and melatonin are sweetened with xylitol, while Seledrop contains no sweeteners. This liquid is sprayed in the mouth or, when allowed by the label, added to a cool drink.

Aerosols with vitamin D3 for children have an oil base: MCT oil from coconut and a mixture of tocopherols as an antioxidant. They contain no sugar, sweeteners, or fragrance. Hemp sprays, on the other hand, are extracts dissolved in a carrier oil, such as MCT, with added flavor.

Vitamin and mineral aerosols should be shaken before use. A natural sediment at the bottom of some of them is not a defect of the product.

How to Calculate the Dose from the Application

The spray label indicates the content of the ingredient in a specific number of applications, not in milliliters. In vitamin B12 and Seledrop, the daily dose is 4 applications, which contain 2.5 µg of vitamin B12 and 110 µg of selenium, respectively. In the melatonin aerosol, one application is 0.5 mg of melatonin.

The second number is the percentage of the nutrient reference value, marked with the abbreviation NRV. The dose of vitamin B12 covers 100% NRV, while the dose of Seledrop covers 200% NRV. In folic acid, 4 applications equal 200 µg, which is 100% NRV, and the manufacturer indicates a range of 4 to 8 applications daily.

Vitamin D3 for Children in Aerosol

Both aerosols have a base with MCT oil, but differ in the source of vitamin D3. The 50 ml bottle contains cholecalciferol from lanolin (Quali-D), while the vegan 30 ml bottle contains vitamin D3 from seaweed (D3V), approved by The Vegan Society.

The same number of applications provides a different amount of vitamin in them. In the 50 ml aerosol, 2 applications equal 500 IU, and 4 applications equal 1000 IU. In the vegan version, 2 applications equal 400 IU, and for children from 1 year old, the manufacturer recommends 3 to 5 applications, which is 600-1000 IU.

So read the dose from the label of the specific bottle, according to the child’s age. The 50 ml aerosol is administered to the throat, while the vegan version is added to water. The manufacturer recommends consulting a pediatrician before administering it to a child. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Hemp Sprays: What to Read on the Label

The number in the name of the hemp spray, for example, 1000 mg, indicates the CBD content in the entire 30 ml bottle, not in one spray. The 4500 mg and 6000 mg bottles have the same volume, so they differ in the concentration of the liquid.

The second piece of information is the type of extract: full spectrum or broad spectrum. Check what THC content the manufacturer declares. The third is the method of administration and the number of sprays that the label indicates as a dose.

Usage and Storage

Aerosols from Aura Herbals should be stored in a dry place at a temperature of 15-25°C and should not be frozen. Hemp sprays should be kept in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Always close each bottle after use and keep it out of reach of children.

Xylitol consumed in excess can have a laxative effect, so stick to the recommended dose. After using the melatonin aerosol, do not drive vehicles or operate machinery, and do not combine it with alcohol or medications, including herbal ones.
