MedicProgress is a Czech company from Hněvotín that has been developing and manufacturing cosmetics, dietary supplements, and medical products since 2009. Its hemp line is HC: MedicProgress hemp seed oil ointment is available in cooling, warming, and 10% oil versions. In addition, the brand offers creams, cleansing cosmetics, hair products, CBD ointments, and Ortho Help massage gels.

MedicProgress hemp ointment: HC line

The core of the line consists of ointments in 100 ml and 250 ml jars, distinguished by the color of the packaging. They are lightweight, easy to apply, non-sticky, and do not stain clothes. The manufacturer does not add synthetic perfumes, and the formulas have undergone dermatological testing.

• blue, extra cooling: 5% hemp seed oil, menthol, peppermint, and eucalyptus; the coolness lasts long after application
• red, warming: 5% hemp seed oil, shea butter, and eucalyptus, cinnamon, clove, rosemary, and lavender essential oils with added chili
• green: 10% hemp seed oil with methyl salicylate and camphor, cools more gently than the blue

Hemp oil ointment is not the same as CBD ointment. Cannabidiol has separate versions in 125 ml packaging, with 125 mg of CBD: with 10% hemp content, cooling with menthol and eucalyptus, and warming with capsaicin and vanilla. LauroCann Forte 250 ml combines 20% hemp seed oil, 250 mg of cannabidiol, and laurel oil, alongside which are the Hot version and Laurokost gel with comfrey.

Daily care

Besides ointments, the HC line includes regular care with hemp oil. These are everyday cosmetics, without cooling or warming effects:

• hand cream 100 ml with 5% hemp oil, D-panthenol, shea butter, almond oil, and vitamin E, without perfume
• body lotion 200 ml with 5% hemp seed oil, panthenol, and shea butter
• shower gel 200 ml with hemp oil esters soluble in water and gentle coconut surfactants
• shampoo 200 ml with hemp seed oil and panthenol
• lip balm stick 4.8 ml with hemp oil, D-panthenol, and beta-carotene, lightly perfumed
• Pro Intim cream 50 ml with BioEcolia for intimate areas, for example after shaving and depilation

For very dry and sensitive skin, there are two ointments 75 ml with bio hemp oil, shea butter, D-panthenol, beeswax, and lanolin, without parabens and artificial dyes. In the same capacity, there is a cooling leg gel with extracts of witch hazel, mullein, and horse chestnut. Ortho Help: massage gel and tablets

Ortho Help is a MedicProgress series for massaging the skin around joints and muscles. Emulgel Duo Effect 175 ml first cools slightly, then transitions to noticeable warmth. It contains ginger extract, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, MSM, methyl salicylate, horsetail, and juniper and eucalyptus oils.

OrthoHelp Complete is a dietary supplement in tablet form, 90 pieces per package. It combines type II collagen, glucosamine, chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, ginger extract, and vitamin C, and the manufacturer recommends one tablet twice a day. You can find it in the Collagen category.

How to use and what to watch out for

Apply the ointment to the skin and massage until absorbed. The manufacturer recommends three to five applications per day, and before the first use, it is advisable to perform an allergy test on a small area of skin. LauroCann Forte is used less frequently, from one to three times a day.

All these cosmetics are for external use only. Do not apply them to damaged or irritated skin, and after use, wash your hands to avoid transferring the product to your eyes.
