CBD Oil Ranking 2026: 7 Proven Products for Beginners

Ranking of 7 hemp oils available at the Bucha store: content in a drop, price, and cost per 100 mg. Prices from August 15, 2026, without dead items.

Out of 84 CBD products purchased online and chromatographically tested, only 26, or 31 percent, contained as much CBD as promised on the label (Bonn-Miller et al., JAMA, 2017). Among the oils alone, it was better, but still compliant with the label were 18 out of 40. Therefore, the ranking of oils cannot be based on the declaration on the packaging or on brand affinity. Here we describe 7 hemp oils that were actually on the shelf at the Bucha store on August 15, 2026, and we reduce each of them to four numbers: content in the bottle, content in a drop, price, and cost per 100 mg. You will learn what to start with for the first package, when a higher concentration becomes worthwhile, and how CBG oil differs from classic CBD oil.

KEY INFORMATION
• Only 31 percent of 84 tested CBD products had content compliant with the label; among the oils alone, 18 out of 40 (Bonn-Miller et al., JAMA, 2017).
• The ranking includes 7 items: three CBD oils, three CBG oils, one terpene oil.
• The cost per 100 mg drops from 13.00 PLN at 5 percent to 9.50 PLN at 20 percent.
• Prices are from the store, as of August 15, 2026, and change faster than the text.

Where do the numbers in this ranking come from?

Prices and stock levels were read on August 15, 2026, directly in the store, not from a previous version of this text. Only oils available for purchase that day made it into the ranking. An unavailable product drops out, even if it previously held the top spot in the ranking.

There are four criteria, and you can check each one yourself on the product card. The first is the declared content of phytonutrients in milligrams per bottle, not just the percentage from the label. The second is the content of one drop, as drops are the only unit you really measure in the morning. The third is the cost per 100 mg, which is the price of the bottle divided by the content in milligrams and multiplied by one hundred. The fourth is the type of extract and carrier: each oil in this ranking is based on hemp seed oil.

The previous version of this ranking described a brand that the store never carried. Five items were in the form of product cards with a price and purchase button, two provided addresses returned a 404 error, and two items were not oils at all: in the seven was a candy with hemp seeds and a package of hulled seeds. We built the ranking from scratch based on what the store actually has on the shelf. Therefore, the order, prices, and names differ from the version a few months ago.

Which hemp oils made it into the ranking?

Seven items made it: three CANNOVA Natural oils with CBD at concentrations of 5, 10, and 20 percent, three CANNOVA Natural oils with CBG at concentrations from 5 to 15 percent, and Green Out Pure XL, which is a hemp oil with a defined terpene profile. For the six CANNOVA oils, the manufacturer provides a one-line composition: hemp seed oil with naturally occurring phytonutrients, without isolates and without a separate carrier oil, from raw material from cultivation certified by GACP, GlobalGAP, and HACCP.

Place Product What distinguishes it Price (as of 2026-08-15) Cost per 100 mg
1 CANNOVA Natural CBD Oil 5%, 10 ml 500 mg in the bottle, about 1.67 mg in a drop, the smallest possible dose jump 65 PLN 13.00 PLN
2 CANNOVA Natural CBD Oil 10%, 10 ml 1000 mg in the bottle, about 3.34 mg in a drop, a reasonable middle after the trial period 110 PLN 11.00 PLN
3 CANNOVA Natural CBD Oil 20%, 10 ml 2000 mg in the bottle, about 6.7 mg in a drop, the cheapest milligram in the entire table 190 PLN 9.50 PLN
4 CANNOVA Natural CBG Oil 15%, 10 ml 1500 mg in the bottle, equal to 5 mg in a drop, the strongest variant with CBG 240 PLN 16.00 PLN
5 CANNOVA Natural CBG Oil 10%, 10 ml 1000 mg in the bottle, about 3.34 mg in a drop, entry into CBG without a big jump 175 PLN 17.50 PLN
6 CANNOVA Natural CBG Oil 5%, 10 ml 500 mg in the bottle, about 1.67 mg in a drop, the cheapest trial with CBG 100 PLN 20.00 PLN
7 Green Out Pure XL, 20 ml (four terpene variants) over 200 mg in the bottle, over 2 mg in a serving of four drops, composition from one item 45 PLN up to 22.50 PLN

We provide prices as a reference point, not as an offer. The cost per 100 mg for Pure XL was calculated from the price of 45 PLN and the declared minimum of 200 mg in the bottle, so it is an upper value: if the content is higher, the milligram comes out cheaper. The assortment rotates faster than the content of the article, so check current prices in the Oils category, and Pure XL in the Green Out category. If the numbers on the product card differ from the table, the card is binding.

Which oil to start with for the first package?

Start with the lowest concentration, which is the 5 percent oil. CANNOVA Natural CBD Oil 500 mg in a 10 ml bottle costs 65 PLN and contains about 1.67 mg of phytonutrients in a drop. Such a small portion allows you to increase the dose by single milligrams, instead of jumping several at once.

The label provides the recommended daily intake, and it is this, not the article, that is the reference point: the manufacturer defines it equally for all six CANNOVA oils, at four drops three times a day. How much to actually take and whether at all, determine with your doctor or pharmacist, especially if you are taking medications regularly. We can only show how to convert drops to milligrams, and we do this in the text about CBD dosing.

The manufacturer states that a 10 ml bottle contains about 300 drops, and this conversion is visible in every CANNOVA item: 500 mg divided by 300 drops gives 1.67 mg, and 1500 mg gives exactly 5 mg. This is a calculation, not a measurement. The size of the drop depends on the diameter of the pipette, the viscosity of the oil, and the room temperature, and the difference between a cold bottle and one warmed in the hand can reach several percent.

We noticed one more thing while organizing this ranking, this time purely mathematical. The lowest concentration is the most expensive per milligram, yet it is the cheapest where it really matters: in the cost of a failed trial. For the first 5 percent package, you will pay 65 PLN, for the equivalent 20 percent 190 PLN, and as long as you do not know how and if you react, you are buying exactly the same, which is information about yourself.

When does switching to 10 or 20 percent become worthwhile?

The signal is measurable. If with the 5 percent oil you measure 12 drops a day or more, a higher concentration will reduce that number without changing the dose in milligrams. CANNOVA 10 percent gives about 3.34 mg in a drop, and the 20 percent version about 6.7 mg, which results from the same conversion of 300 drops per bottle.

The economics change along with this. At 5 percent, you pay 13.00 PLN for 100 mg, at 10 percent 11.00 PLN, and at 20 percent 9.50 PLN. The difference seems unremarkable, so let’s calculate it for a year at an arbitrarily accepted level of 20 mg per day: it comes out to 949 PLN versus 693 PLN, which is over 250 PLN just on concentration. With the same calculation, a 20 percent bottle lasts for one hundred days, while a 5 percent bottle lasts for twenty-five.

However, there is a condition that is easy to forget. A higher concentration makes sense only when you already know your dose. As long as you are searching for it, a big jump in drops works against you: with 20 percent, one drop up is almost 7 mg, while with 5 percent it is less than 2 mg. Therefore, the order in this ranking is not accidental. You can find more about choosing concentrations in the text about which CBD concentration to choose.

What is the difference between CBG oil and CBD oil?

CBG is a separate phytocannabinoid, present in cannabis in much smaller amounts than CBD, and therefore more expensive to obtain. This is immediately visible in the table: CBG oil costs 100 PLN for 500 mg, while the equivalent CBD oil costs 65 PLN. For the same milligram, you pay half more.

There is less scientific evidence for this. The first controlled clinical study on CBG was published by Cuttler et al. in Scientific Reports (2024). Thirty-four healthy adults received a single dose of 20 mg CBG or placebo in a crossover design with a double-blind trial. Perceived anxiety decreased on average by 0.95 points on a ten-point scale, which the authors convert to 26.5 percent, and they themselves add that the baseline anxiety level was low in this group (an average of 3.59 out of 10). The effect on stress was evident in the first measurement and weakened over time, while mood did not change at all. CBG, however, improved the verbal memory test score, which popular summaries of this work usually do not mention.

Two things need to be added to this work, as they change its weight. The study was funded by CReDO Science, a company working on CBG, and its founder is a co-author of the work; the authors state this directly and emphasize that the sponsor did not participate in the analysis of the results. This does not invalidate the result, but the reader has the right to know. Additionally, the study was conducted remotely, in the participants’ home conditions, not in a facility.

This is therefore one study on a small group of healthy individuals, and no recommendations can be derived from it for anyone with a specific ailment. Treat CBG oils as an option for someone who has already tried the CBD variant and wants to check something different, not as a starting point. For the first package, the price-to-evidence ratio clearly favors CBD.

What does terpene profile oil provide instead of high concentration?

Green Out Pure XL goes in a different direction than the rest of the ranking. A 20 ml bottle costs 45 PLN and contains, according to the manufacturer, over 200 mg of phytonutrients, which is less than the weakest CANNOVA oil. The value of this product lies not in concentration, but in composition: one item on the label, which is the hemp oil itself, enriched with the natural terpene profile of a selected strain.

The manufacturer divides the bottle into 100 servings of 0.2 ml, or four drops, and declares over 2 mg of phytonutrients per serving. Both values are recorded as minimum thresholds, not as exact numbers. In the store, there are four variants at the same price and in the same format, differing only in terpene profile: Critical Jack and O.G. Kush marked as SLEEP, Super Lemon Haze as ENERGY, and Sour Diesel as HYBRID. The manufacturer provides for the Critical Jack profile linalool, caryophyllene, myrcene, and humulene. All four are in the Green Out category, not in the Oils category, so when browsing the Oils category alone, they can be easily overlooked. What these profiles are and how well their effects are studied, we elaborated in the text about terpenes in hemp oil.

Who is this sensible for? For someone who is not looking for a high dose, but a short composition and a specific flavor and aroma profile. For 45 PLN, you get a bottle twice the size of the standard ten, but in terms of cost per milligram, it comes out more expensive than any CBD oil in the table. There is one more trap here, which the manufacturer states directly: after opening, the bottle goes back to the fridge and has a 30-day shelf life. With one serving a day, you won’t manage to use all one hundred servings, so the real cost per milligram increases even more.

Does full spectrum work better than pure isolate?

The most frequently cited argument for full spectrum comes from a meta-analysis published by Pamplona, da Silva, and Coan in Frontiers in Neurology (2018). The authors collected data from 670 patients with drug-resistant epilepsy from eleven observational studies and compared CBD-rich extracts with purified CBD.

The results are more interesting than the popular version of this story suggests. A reduction in seizure frequency was reported by 71 percent of those taking the extract compared to 46 percent taking purified CBD, and the average daily dose of the extract was 6.0 mg per kilogram of body weight compared to 25.3 mg with the isolate. This is a difference of more than four times, not two times as many Polish studies report. However, when the authors applied the standard clinical threshold, which is a reduction in seizures by at least half, the advantage disappeared: 37 percent versus 42 percent, with no statistical difference.

The conclusion is more cautious than marketers like. The CBD-rich extract performed better in a soft endpoint based on patient report and at lower doses, but not in a hard one. The population studied had severe drug-resistant epilepsy, not healthy individuals buying oil for evening relaxation, and the data comes from observations, not randomization. No item in this ranking is an isolate, so the choice between spectrum and isolate does not arise here. However, it is good to know what this argument really stands on.

How to recognize a good hemp oil?

The decisive factor is the batch testing report issued by a laboratory independent of the manufacturer. Without it, the percentage on the label is a declaration, not a measurement. The scale of the problem is documented: in the study by Bonn-Miller et al. (JAMA, 2017), 84 CBD products were purchased from 31 companies, and only 26 of them, or 31 percent, fell within a 10 percent tolerance of the label.

The breakdown by product type is more important than the overall number, as the set included 40 oils, 20 tinctures, and 24 vaporization liquids. The vaporization liquids performed the worst: 21 out of 24 were poorly described. Oils, which is the form this ranking talks about, performed significantly better: 18 out of 40 were compliant with the label, or 45 percent. The direction of the discrepancy can also be misleadingly summarized: 36 samples contained more CBD than declared, and 22 less. In 18, THC was detected, up to 6.43 mg per milliliter. What to look for in such a report:

  • Content in mg per ml, not just percentage, because percentage without volume says nothing about the dose in a drop.
  • THC level, where the legal threshold of 0.3 percent applies to the plant and is counted as the sum of delta-9-THC and THCA, not just delta-9-THC.
  • Heavy metals and pesticides, because hemp absorbs more from the soil than most cultivated plants.
  • Date and batch number matching what you have in hand, not from a series two years ago.

The second filter is the carrier. Six CANNOVA oils in this ranking are based on hemp seed oil from certified cultivation, which provides a fatty base and a characteristic nutty taste. An alternative can be MCT oil from coconut: thinner, with a neutral taste, but without the nutritional profile of hemp seeds. The third filter is the transparency of the description. If the manufacturer provides the content per bottle, the content per drop, and the accepted conversion, they probably have nothing to hide. Where to buy so that this data is available at all, we describe in the text about where to buy CBD in Poland.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which hemp oil to choose for a start?

For the first package, the lowest concentration, which is 5 percent, is best. In CANNOVA Natural CBD Oil 500 mg, one drop is about 1.67 mg of phytonutrients, so the differences between servings are the smallest in the entire table. The bottle cost 65 PLN on August 15, 2026, which is 13.00 PLN for 100 mg.

How many phytonutrients are in a drop of 5 percent oil?

About 1.67 mg, because the manufacturer counts 500 mg per bottle and about 300 drops in 10 ml. Three drops give about 5 mg, and six about 10 mg. This is a calculation, not a measurement: the actual size of the drop depends on the pipette and the temperature of the oil. The recommended intake is provided on the label.

What is the difference between CBG oil and CBD oil?

CBG is a different phytocannabinoid, still less studied than CBD. In the study by Cuttler et al. (Scientific Reports, 2024), a single dose of 20 mg CBG reduced perceived anxiety by 0.95 points on a ten-point scale, or 26.5 percent, in 34 healthy individuals with a low baseline level. The study was funded by a company working on CBG.

How to check the quality of hemp oil before purchase?

Ask for a batch testing report issued by an external laboratory. It should provide the content in mg per ml, THC level, and test results for heavy metals, pesticides, and mycotoxins. In the study by Bonn-Miller et al. (JAMA, 2017), 26 out of 84 products were compliant with the label, and among the oils, 18 out of 40.

How long will a 10 ml bottle of oil last?

The manufacturer counts about 300 drops in a 10 ml bottle, so with five drops a day, it lasts 60 days, and with ten, 30 days. However, it is not the number of drops that counts, but the milligrams: the same 20 mg per day uses up a 5 percent bottle in 25 days, and a 20 percent bottle in 100 days.

Is hemp oil legal in Poland?

Yes, products from industrial hemp are allowed for sale. The 0.3 percent threshold from Article 4 point 5 of the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction applies to the plant, not the finished product, and is counted as the sum of delta-9-THC and THCA. CBD extracts have a status of novel food in the EU, and the authorization procedure is still ongoing.

The full, up-to-date list of available oils along with prices and content can be found in the Oils category. Check it before purchasing, as the assortment changes more frequently than this ranking.
