Shipping of products from the Artistic category - how to order, times and costs 2026
Products sourced on demand: 7-21 business days, one fee for a mixed cart, discreet packaging, and 14 days to withdraw from the contract.
We often receive three questions about this category: how long it will take, how much I will pay for shipping, and whether the package looks neutral. The answer to the first differs from the standard, as we do not keep products from the Artistic category in stock, but source them after the order is paid. This one fact leads to everything else: a longer fulfillment time, no afternoon cutoff, and how we treat a mixed cart. This guide breaks down the process into stages, shows where to check the current delivery cost, and explains what rights you have regarding returns and non-compliant goods. You will also find clarifications on two things that have been repeated in shopping guides for years and turned out to be inaccurate after checking with the source: the legal basis for consumer complaints and the regulations referenced in discreet packaging.
KEY INFORMATION
• Products from the Artistic category are sourced on demand, so the fulfillment time is 7-21 business days, not 24-48 hours as for stock items.
• A mixed cart is shipped in one package and is subject to one delivery fee; the current rate is shown in the cart before confirming the order.
• You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract from the moment you take possession of the goods (Article 27(1) and Article 28 of the Consumer Rights Act, consolidated text Journal of Laws 2024, item 1796).
• The seller is responsible for non-compliance of the goods with the contract revealed within two years from delivery (Article 43c(1) of the same act).
• Discreet packaging is our procedure, not a right resulting from communication secrecy regulations.
How long does it take to process an order for products sourced on demand?
From 7 to 21 business days, counting from the payment being credited. This is how long it takes to order the goods from the supplier, receive them, and complete the package. The transport itself via InPost only comes into play at the end and usually takes 24-48 hours from dispatch.
Why such a range? The Artistic category operates on a made-to-order model. We do not keep these items in stock because demand for them is irregular, and long storage of goods on the shelf raises the retail price. Instead, we order a specific item from the supplier only when the order is paid.
The upper limit of the range is not an excess reserve. It consists of several factors that we do not control: current availability from the manufacturer, the time taken to complete the order on the supplier’s side, and seasonal peaks in logistics. The pre-holiday period and weeks of major sales push fulfillment closer to the upper limit, and this is the moment when it is worth placing an order in advance.
We provide the timeframe before finalizing the order, not after. We believe that a wide but kept timeframe is fairer than a narrow promise that cannot be maintained when there is no stock with the manufacturer. If you need the shipment on a specific day, contact customer service before purchasing, and we will check the real timeframe for that item.
Why is there no cutoff time of 17:45 for this category?
Because the cutoff concerns packing goods that we already have. The 17:45 time marks the moment by which a completed package can reach the courier the same day. With a product sourced on demand, there is nothing to pack on the day of the order, so this time does not change anything.
The cutoff comes back into play at the end of the process, not at the beginning. When the goods arrive from the supplier and the package is completed, the same rule applies as for stock items: those prepared before 17:45 leave the same day, those prepared later the next business day. We described this mechanism in more detail in the text about why express shipping via InPost to 17:45 matters for buyers.
The practical conclusion is that an order placed at 17:40 and at 19:00 the same day will end up in the same queue. There is no reason to race against the clock with this category. What matters is the moment the payment is credited, as that is when the timeframe for sourcing the goods begins.
Therefore, the choice of payment method affects the start of fulfillment more than the time of placing the order. Instant payment triggers the process immediately, a traditional transfer only after it is credited, and cash on delivery shifts the entire cycle, as we order the goods from the supplier only after confirming the order.
What does the order path look like step by step?
The whole process boils down to six stages, of which only the first depends on you. The list below shows what happens in order and at which moment you receive a message from us.
- You place an order in the cart and choose the delivery and payment method.
- The payment is credited, and you receive an order confirmation at your email address.
- We order the goods from the supplier; this is the longest stage of the entire process.
- We receive the goods, complete the package, and pack it in neutral cardboard.
- We dispatch the shipment and send the tracking number via email and SMS.
- You pick up the package at the Parcel Locker with the code from the message or from the courier at the specified address.
Two of these stages are often confused. Order confirmation is not the same as dispatch confirmation: the first comes within a few minutes of payment, the second only after the package is completed, which is usually after several days. If after payment you received one message and silence lasts a week, that is expected behavior, not a malfunction.
You can only track the shipment from the fifth stage, as the tracking number does not exist before that. Until then, customer service provides information about the order, not the carrier. This is a common source of misunderstandings during the first purchase from this category.
How much will you pay for delivery and when does one fee cover the entire cart?
The current rate is shown in the cart when choosing the delivery method, before confirming the order. We intentionally do not provide it in the article: carrier price lists change throughout the year, and the amount written in a text from a few months ago looks current and misleads exactly when it is no longer true.
The principle of charging is constant, and it is worth knowing it before purchasing. Regardless of the number of items in the cart, we pack them in one package and send them with one shipping label, so the delivery fee is charged once. This also applies to a mixed cart, where a product from the Artistic category is next to items from other shelves of the store.
However, this same principle has a downside. Since the package is one, it waits for the slowest item in the cart. Products available immediately will only be shipped when the goods sourced on demand arrive. If you need part of your purchases quickly, split them into two orders and pay two delivery fees.
When comparing stores, check the total cost visible in the last step of the cart, not just the product price. This is one of the things we mention in the checklist for buyers when we write about how to recognize a good store with hemp products. Hidden surcharges appearing only at payment are a warning sign.
How do we pack the package and what does this packing not guarantee?
We pack in neutral brown cardboard without advertising prints, without the category name, and without a description of the contents on the outside. The shipping label contains the sender’s details, recipient’s details, and the tracking number. We do not place the product name or category on it.
Inside, we use neutral filler and seal the cardboard with unprinted tape. The courier picking up the shipment scans the label and has no insight into the contents. In the Parcel Locker, the package goes to the compartment, which you open with the code from the message. This is a standard procedure that we apply to every order, regardless of what it contains.
It is worth knowing, however, what this procedure does not mean. In e-commerce guides, discreet packaging is sometimes supported by Article 49 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and Article 267 of the Penal Code. We checked both regulations at the source: Article 267 paragraph 1 punishes obtaining unauthorized access to information for the perpetrator not intended by opening a closed document (consolidated text Journal of Laws 2025, item 383), and the constitutional guarantee concerns the secrecy of communication.
A cardboard box with goods is neither a document nor an act of communication, so invoking these regulations when shipping purchases is an abuse. Your order’s privacy is based on our packing procedure and on data protection regulations, not on a promise of criminal sanctions, which these regulations do not foresee in such a situation.
Parcel Locker or InPost courier, which to choose?
The Parcel Locker wins when you do not know what time you will be home. The compartment is available regardless of working hours, pickup takes a moment, and does not require contact with anyone. The courier has an advantage for larger shipments and for addresses with a reception, where someone will receive the package on your behalf.
A limitation of the Parcel Locker is the size of the compartment. Shipments exceeding the largest available size are automatically directed to courier delivery, and the system informs you of this when choosing the delivery method. The second limitation is the filling of the device: during high traffic, the shipment may be directed to the nearest available Parcel Locker, of which you receive a message with the new address.
The courier, on the other hand, requires presence at the address during delivery windows or someone to receive the package. After unsuccessful attempts, the shipment returns to the pickup point, and from there after a designated time to the sender. If you work during delivery hours and have no one to leave the shipment with, the Parcel Locker will save you one trip.
Both methods lead to the same fulfillment time, as the choice of carrier does not shorten the sourcing stage. It only affects the last segment of the journey. Changing the method of pickup after dispatch is handled by the carrier’s app, not the store.
How much time do you have to withdraw from the contract?
Fourteen days, without giving a reason. A consumer who has concluded a distance contract can withdraw from it within this period without incurring costs other than those specified by the law itself (Article 27(1) of the Act of May 30, 2014, on consumer rights, consolidated text Journal of Laws 2024, item 1796).
The period runs from the moment you or a person designated by you other than the carrier takes possession of the goods, not from the day of placing the order. This is stated in Article 28 point 1. If the order includes multiple goods delivered separately, in batches, or in parts, the period counts from the moment of taking possession of the last one.
After submitting a statement, two separate periods begin, both lasting 14 days. The seller refunds all payments made by you, including the costs of delivering the goods, no later than 14 days from receiving the statement, using the same payment method you used (Article 32(1) and (2)). You return the goods no later than 14 days from withdrawal, and to meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send it back before it expires (Article 34(1)).
The statement does not require justification or a specific form, and a template form is an attachment to the act. The catalog of exclusions from the right of withdrawal is contained in Article 38(1). It lists, among others, non-prefabricated goods produced according to the consumer’s specifications or serving to meet their individualized needs (point 3), and goods delivered in sealed packaging that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons if the packaging has been opened after delivery (point 5). The product description indicates whether any of the exclusions apply to it.
What to do if the goods are non-compliant with the contract?
Report it to us and request repair or replacement. Consumer rights in this situation are regulated by Chapter 5a of the Consumer Rights Act, and Article 43d(1) explicitly gives the right to request repair or replacement of goods that do not comply with the contract.
The seller is responsible for non-compliance existing at the time of delivery of the goods and revealed within two years from that moment, unless the shelf life of the goods is longer (Article 43c(1)). This same provision introduces a presumption that works in your favor: non-compliance revealed within two years from delivery is considered to have existed at the time of delivery unless proven otherwise.
One thing needs clarification regarding older guides, including earlier versions of this text. Consumers do not currently benefit from the warranty under the Civil Code. Article 43a(1) of the Act clearly states that the provisions of Book Three Title XI Chapter II of the Civil Code, which are precisely the provisions on warranty, do not apply to contracts obliging to transfer ownership of goods to the consumer. The basis is the consumer act, not the code.
Practically, this changes little in the form of the report but a lot in the argumentation. By citing the appropriate provision, you will avoid referring to a procedure that does not apply to your contract. Attach the order number, a description of the defect, and photos to the report, as this shortens the determination of the factual state.
What to do if the package arrives damaged?
Document the damage before unpacking the contents. When receiving from the courier, write a damage report with them; when receiving from the Parcel Locker, take photos of the box in the compartment and immediately after removal. A shipping complaint without documentation of the condition of the packaging is difficult to carry out.
Photograph in an order that shows the sequence of events: the label with the tracking number, the damaged area of the box, and only then the contents after opening. A photo of the broken item alone without the context of the packaging does not resolve whether the damage occurred during transport or earlier.
Direct the report to us, not the carrier. The transport contract connects the store with the carrier, so we conduct the complaint procedure and bear the outcome. You remain in relation with the store and use the rights described in the previous section.
The solution is usually to exchange the item or refund the paid amount. For products sourced on demand, an exchange means reordering from the supplier, which means another cycle of 7-21 business days. If this timeframe is unacceptable to you, mention it in the report, and we will treat the matter as a refund.
What to do if you mistype the address or the product disappears from the offer?
Contact customer service as soon as possible, as the possibilities depend on the stage at which the order is. As long as the package has not been dispatched, we can correct the recipient’s details at no additional cost. After dispatch, the change is already the carrier’s responsibility and depends on how far the shipment has traveled.
Redirecting to another Parcel Locker in the same area is usually feasible in the carrier’s app. Changing cities or switching from a Parcel Locker to a home address after dispatch may be impossible. In that case, the simplest way is to wait for the package to be returned to the sender after the pickup deadline and resend it with the correct details.
The disappearance of a product from the list is a separate matter and usually indicates a temporary lack at the supplier, not a withdrawal of the item from the offer. The list updates automatically with availability, so an item can return after a few weeks. If you are interested in a specific item, contact customer service, and we will check the expected date of reavailability.
The opposite situation can also occur: the product was visible at the time of purchase, and the supplier reports a lack only after the order has been paid. We inform you of this by email and present two options, either waiting for the next delivery or refunding the paid amount. The decision is yours and does not require justification.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to process an order from the Artistic category?
From 7 to 21 business days from the payment being credited, because we source products from this category from the supplier after the order is paid. The transport itself via InPost usually takes 24-48 hours and only occurs after the package is completed. The pre-holiday period pushes the fulfillment closer to the upper limit of the range.
Can I order only one product from this category?
Yes, the order can include only one item. The processing time remains the same, which is 7-21 business days, and the delivery fee is charged once. The same principle of one fee applies to a cart combining products from different shelves of the store.
Are packages packed discreetly?
Yes. We use neutral brown cardboard without prints, and the shipping label does not contain the product name or category. This is our procedure, not a right resulting from communication secrecy regulations, as the cardboard with the goods is not a document in the sense of Article 267 of the Penal Code.
Is there a cutoff time of 17:45 for this category?
No at the stage of placing the order, because the goods are not in stock and there is nothing to pack that day. The 17:45 cutoff comes back into play only after the package is completed: those prepared before it leave the same day, those prepared later the next business day.
How much time do I have to withdraw from the contract?
Fourteen days without giving a reason, counting from the moment you take possession of the goods, not from the moment of placing the order (Article 27(1) and Article 28 of the Consumer Rights Act, consolidated text Journal of Laws 2024, item 1796). A refund occurs within 14 days of receiving your statement.
What should I do if the goods turn out to be non-compliant with the contract?
Report it to us and request repair or replacement based on Article 43d(1) of the Consumer Rights Act. The seller is responsible for non-compliance revealed within two years from the delivery of the goods, and the law presumes that the defect existed at the time of delivery (Article 43c(1)).
Can I track my package?
Yes, from the moment of dispatch. We send the tracking number via email and SMS, and you can check the status in the carrier’s app or on their website. Before that, the number does not exist, so information about the order is provided by customer service, not the carrier.
Three things to remember before purchasing
The first concerns time. Products sourced on demand have a fulfillment time of 7-21 business days, and neither the choice of carrier nor the time of placing the order will speed it up. However, instant payment will speed it up, as the order with the supplier begins from the moment the payment is credited.
The second concerns cost. One package means one delivery fee, even with a mixed cart, but that same package waits for the slowest item. Splitting purchases into two orders may therefore be wiser than saving on one shipment. You will see the current rate in the cart before confirmation.
The third concerns rights. Fourteen days to withdraw from the contract counts from the moment you take possession of the goods, and the seller’s responsibility for non-compliance of the goods with the contract lasts two years from delivery. The basis for both rights is the Consumer Rights Act, not the Civil Code, and it is worth citing the appropriate provision.
If after reading you have questions regarding a specific order, the quickest way is to contact customer service with your order number in the message. The deadlines and procedures described above are the rule, not a rigid framework: in atypical transport situations, we look for solutions individually.
