Chaga Mushroom, more widely known as Chaga, is a functional fungus. For centuries, its fruiting bodies have been traditionally used to prepare tinctures and infusions. To this day, extracts from Chaga are valued as dietary supplements.

Chaga Mushroom

Asexual fruiting bodies of Chaga Mushroom (specifically sclerotia) primarily grow on the trunks of birch trees in forests covering the northern part of our globe. It is easy to spot a mature Chaga fruiting body, as its black, coal-like color clearly contrasts with the white birch bark. The irregular shape of the fruiting body, resembling a protruding, rough growth, is also characteristic. In folk tales, it is often referred to as the “birch bump,” due to its specific appearance.

The inhabitants of Siberia and the Baltic countries used infusions of Chaga for various purposes in folk medicine.

Chaga Extract in Liquid

This extract is obtained from the fruiting bodies of wild-growing Chaga mushrooms collected in the Greater Khingan Mountains in northeastern China and in Estonian forests. The collected fruiting bodies undergo double extraction with alcohol and hot water. This process extracts everything that makes the mushroom functional, namely the full spectrum of biologically active ingredients.

This product is not an ordinary alcoholic tincture, of which there are many on the market. Despite the use of alcohol during the extraction process, it is no longer present in the finished product. What you receive is an extract suspended in filtered spring water, with not a drop of alcohol.

How to Use Chaga Extract?

The standard methods of consuming Chaga Mushroom liquid are to add it to a glass of pure water or apply it directly to the mouth. Many users apply the liquid under the tongue, holding it there for several seconds in hopes of faster absorption of the ingredients. Due to the absence of alcohol, the liquid is much gentler on the mucous membranes when taken sublingually than alcoholic preparations.

One serving is 2 ML (2 droppers) of extract per day.

Ingredients:

Filtered spring water, extract from Chaga mushroom fruiting bodies (Inonotus obliguus (Ach. Ex Pers.) Pilát) 15:1, acidity regulator: citric acid (natural), extract from the fruit of the rowan tree.

Storage of Extract

After opening the package, store in the refrigerator.

Our extract does not contain alcohol as a preservative. This way, we do not deliver unnecessary percentages when consuming mushrooms and provide a gentler form of administration. To stabilize the extract and protect it from the development of microorganisms, we used natural citric acid and extract from the fruits of the rowan tree.

We sealed everything in bio-photonic Miron glass, which allows for longer preservation of the extract’s properties inside.
