X-Max Starry 4.0 X HERO Green is a limited green edition of the fourth-generation Starry, made by X-Max together with the Polish vaporizer brand HERO. The material heats up in a ceramic chamber, and the device is powered by a replaceable 18650 battery with a capacity of 2550 mAh.

You set the temperature on the OLED display anywhere from 100 to 240°C, one degree at a time. The airflow has its own adjustment, so you can tune the draw without changing the temperature setting. The HERO edition adds a protective case and two medical-grade stainless steel dosing capsules to the box.

Replaceable battery in practice

You take the 18650 battery out and swap in a charged one, so how long you can stay out does not depend on a power outlet. You charge the empty battery in the vaporizer via USB-C, and you can keep using the device while it charges.

How to use

• Charge the battery via USB-C or insert a charged 18650 battery
• Fill the chamber with ground herb or insert a prepared dosing capsule
• Set the temperature on the OLED display
• Wait for the vibration that indicates the set temperature has been reached
• Adjust the airflow to your draw using the regulator
• After cooling down, empty the chamber and clean the screen with the brush from the kit

Heating to the set temperature takes about 20 seconds, so you can start your session almost immediately after turning it on.

Yes. The vaporizer operates on a replaceable lithium-ion 18650 battery with a capacity of 2550 mAh, which you can remove and replace with another charged one. With a spare battery in your pocket, a longer outing means no hunting for a power outlet. You charge the battery in the device via USB-C, and you can also use the vaporizer while charging.

How is the temperature set?

On the OLED display, in the range of 100-240°C, with a step of one degree. The device heats up in about 20 seconds, and reaching the set temperature is signaled by a vibration. Such a small step allows you to reach your favorite setting with small changes, without jumping several degrees at once.

What are the dosing capsules for?

These are small containers made of medical-grade stainless steel that you fill with herb in advance, for example, before leaving home. Two reusable capsules are included, along with a dosing tool. You insert the prepared capsule into the chamber, and after the session, you replace it with the next one without emptying the material from the chamber.

How does the HERO edition differ from the regular Starry 4?

According to HERO, the limited edition differs from the standard version primarily in its equipment: the box includes a protective case and two medical-grade stainless steel dosing capsules. HERO also mentions adjustable airflow as an improvement to this design. Additionally, a complete set of cleaning accessories and a manual in Polish are included.

Safety and storage

The device is intended for adults only. Keep it, together with the battery and small accessories, out of reach of children.

Charge the vaporizer with the cable from the kit and do not leave it charging unattended. Do not immerse the housing in water and do not disassemble the heating chamber.

Clean the chamber, screen, and mouthpiece only after they have completely cooled down. Store the spare battery so that its terminals do not come into contact with metal objects.

If the housing gets excessively hot, stop using it and unplug the device.
