At least six hours, but no longer than twelve in total within a day. The manufacturer provides both limits, and the second is more important here: the treatment can be repeated within a day, but the total time must not exceed twelve hours.

This changes the way of planning. Six hours means practically applying it overnight or for the whole afternoon, not for a quarter of an hour before going out.
