The difference between the two versions of the same strain comes from cultivation and processing, not from the name on the package. Each producer maintains their own mother plants, their own drying protocol, and their own testing to release the batch, so the chemical profile of two batches can differ even with identical genetics. Available data do not separate either the terpene profile or the range of active substance content by individual producers, which is why everything below describes the strain, not the version from a specific company.

The THC content is provided only as a range of 16.2-24.2%. How long does it take for Blueberry to take effect and how long does the effect last?

After vaporization, the first sensations appear within a few minutes, and after ingestion, only after half an hour to two hours. The method of administration is decisive, not the strain itself: no separate studies on the absorption process for any single cultivar have been published, so the ranges below describe physiology, not the properties of Blueberry.

The route of administration determines the course more than the variety itself. After vaporization, the substance passes from the lungs to the blood almost immediately, so the first sensations appear after a few minutes, the intensity increases for another ten to thirty minutes, and the whole effect lasts for two to four hours. After ingestion, the raw material first passes through the intestine and liver, so the first sensations are awaited from half an hour to two hours, and the episode can last six, sometimes eight hours. Hence the most common mistake with oral administration: anyone who thinks nothing is happening after thirty minutes and takes another dose will receive both doses at once. What is known and what is not known about the effects of Blueberry?

Nothing has been demonstrated directly about this strain. Published studies concern individual components, primarily myrcene, and were conducted on rodents. The rest, such as descriptions of mood, drowsiness, or relief, comes from user reports and sales materials, and this is not the same kind of evidence as an experiment.

The terpene profile is described by one source, the Polish database budcare.pl. It lists myrcene as the leading position, and alongside it linalool, humulene i bisabolol. We do not provide percentage shares because the denominator in such compilations remains unknown: summed values for the same components yield 46, 73, and 83 percent of the total at different times. Since the sums do not add up to one hundred, the number next to the component name is not information, but a value without reference.

Three studies concern myrcene itself, all conducted on mice. In 2002 (Vale TG et al., Phytomedicine, PMID:12587690), myrcene administered intraperitoneally at doses of 100-200 mg/kg reduced motor activity and prolonged sleep induced by pentobarbital, at 200 mg/kg by about 2.6 times, but also decreased the number of entries into the open arms of the elevated plus maze, which the authors described as a weak anxiogenic effect. In 1990 (Rao VS et al., Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, PMID:1983154), doses of 10-40 mg/kg reduced pain responses in the hot plate test and in the acetic acid-induced writhing test, and the effect was reversed by naloxone and yohimbine. In 2024 (Wagner JK et al., NeuroSci, PMID:39728677), beta-myrcene administered as vapor had anxiolytic effects in females, in males only after a single inhalation, and did not provide synergy with cannabidiol.

In humans, myrcene alone has not been shown to alleviate insomnia at doses typical for inhalation of dried flower. The direction of the effect in rodents depends on the route of administration and sex: intraperitoneal injection in 2002 described a slightly anxiogenic effect, while inhalation in 2024 showed an anxiolytic effect in females. These two results do not negate each other; they simply show that the conclusion depends on conditions that no popular strain database provides.

What side effects have been reported for this strain?

None exclusively attributed to this strain. Safety monitoring is conducted for medicinal products marked with a batch number, not for the trade name of the plant, so public compilations do not allow us to say how many reports specifically concerned Blueberry or whether any at all did.

How to vaporize this strain?

We do not provide any value here because we have no source for it. Sources describing this strain do not contain a recommended working temperature, and what we have are boiling points of pure compounds: myrcene, leading in this profile, boils at around 167 degrees Celsius, while caryophyllene only above 256. The setting of the vaporizer is not equal to the temperature of the dried flower itself.

The discrepancy between published temperature tables arises from the fact that the boiling points of terpenes were measured for pure substances at normal pressure, not for dried flower in the vaporizer chamber. Which strains are related to it?

The pedigree graph does not assign siblings to Blueberry, and this is not a gap in the data: two out of three parents are landraces, and the third belongs to a broad Afghani family, so a common parent is not enough to consider two cultivars as siblings.

Landrace is not a single, identified strain, but a local cultivated population preserved over generations, in which individuals differ from one another. The same applies to names like Afghani or Haze: they describe style and geographical origin, not a specific plant with a fixed genotype. Two cultivars that share only such a parent may have nothing in common besides the label, which is why an empty sibling list is a result here, not a lack of data.
