The density is very high: 94.3 lockers per hundred thousand residents with 134700 inhabitants. Katowice, a center twice as large, has 86.3. This is due to the extensive borders of Rybnik, which absorbed several former villages, each of which received its devices.

Availability is almost complete. 125 out of 127 lockers operate 24/7, which is 98%, as only two are inside buildings. The remaining 125 are freestanding, so you can go out for your package at any time.

The network is spread across 93 streets and only 14 postal codes. The most devices are on Wodzisławska with six, followed by Żorska and Gliwicka with five each, and Raciborska with four. Eight lockers are described by the operator as being next to a store, and four are near volunteer fire department stations.

We count lockers and service points separately because they differ in availability: a locker issues a package regardless of the time, while a store only when it is open.

Where to pick up a package in Rybnik?

Below are twelve lockers from different parts of the city, one for each street. You can see the full list of 127 locations in the InPost search engine, and you choose a specific locker in the cart before proceeding to payment.

You also receive the description from the last column in the message with the pickup code, so you can find an unknown address. If the number on this page differs from the InPost app, follow the app.

If no locker is on your way, you will also find 6 service points in the cart. The seller issues the package there during the opening hours of the facility, which can be more convenient for larger packages.

How does pickup in Rybnik differ from other cities?

By the presence in former villages. Four Rybnik lockers are located at volunteer fire department stations, which is a location description found almost exclusively outside city centers. This is a remnant of the fact that Rybnik administratively encompasses several former settlements.

Practically, this means that even living on the outskirts, you have a locker within a reasonable distance. The farthest locker, RYB02ML, is 8.6 kilometers from the center of the network, but the devices do not end at the city center; they continue beyond the buildings.

The addressing is very rough, however. Fourteen codes for 127 lockers, of which 44-200 covers 39 devices, 44-251 fourteen, and 44-207 eleven. The postal code thus narrows the choice only partially, and it is better to search by district name or street.

Rybnik is 295 kilometers away from our warehouse. This does not affect the timing, as the package goes through the sorting center, not the shortest route, so one business day is the norm here.

How much does delivery to Rybnik cost and when will it arrive?

For a cart total of 49 PLN or more, delivery to an InPost locker is free, provided you pay in advance, and below this amount, it costs 13.50 PLN. You choose the locker in the cart before proceeding to payment.

The time of order placement is decisive. Everything you pay for by 17:45, we hand over to the InPost courier on the same business day.

An order paid on Tuesday before the cutoff usually arrives at the Rybnik locker on Wednesday. Since 125 out of 127 devices operate continuously, you can go out for your package immediately after notification.

After the package is picked up by the courier, a separate email with a receipt and a tracking link arrives. Payments are handled by ING: by card, Visa Mobile, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
