We ship to Bydgoszcz via InPost. The city has 258 parcel lockers, of which 245 operate continuously, and human pickup is less common here than elsewhere: there are only 15 service points.

How many InPost parcel lockers are in Bydgoszcz?

There are 258 InPost parcel lockers in Bydgoszcz, and in addition, there are 15 service points. This gives a total of 273 pickup locations.

The ratio here is unusual. For 258 lockers, there are only 15 points serviced by people, which is one for every seventeen devices. In Kalisz, a city three times smaller, there are 16 service points. If you prefer to pick up your package in a store, your options in Bydgoszcz are quite limited.

However, the network of lockers is dense and accessible. There are 78.2 devices for every hundred thousand residents, with 245 of them operating continuously, and only 19 are located inside buildings. The remaining 239 are freestanding, so you can also go out for your package at night.

The devices are spread across 188 streets and 160 postal codes, all within the range of 85-. The most lockers are located on Nakielska Street, with nine, followed by Wojska Polskiego with eight and Fordońska with six. Notably, in Bydgoszcz, 10 lockers have been placed at BSS stores, a local cooperative, and 12 on private properties.

We count lockers and service points separately because they differ in availability: a parcel locker dispenses packages regardless of the time, while a store only does so when it is open.

The addressing is small: 160 postal codes for 258 lockers spread across 188 streets. Entering your own code in the InPost search narrows the choice down to almost one locker.

Where to pick up a package in Bydgoszcz?

Below are twelve lockers from different parts of the city, one for each street. You can see the full list of 258 locations in the InPost search, and you select a specific locker in the cart before proceeding to payment.

You will also receive a description from the last column in the message with the pickup code, so you will find your way to an unknown address. If the number on this page differs from the InPost app, follow the app.

If no locker is on your way, you will also find 15 service points in the cart. The seller issues the package there during the opening hours of the facility, which can be more convenient for larger packages.

How does pickup in Bydgoszcz differ from other cities?

It is concentrated under a few codes. The densest, 85-790, has 16 lockers, followed by 85-791 with ten and 85-794 with nine. If you live in these areas, you have a real choice between several lockers and can choose one that is freestanding.

Outside of these clusters, the distribution flattens: with 160 codes for 258 lockers, there is an average of just over one and a half devices per code. In practice, the postal code narrows the choice only in part of the city, while in the rest, it is more effective to follow the street.

The farthest locker, BYD162M, is 10.3 kilometers from the center of the network. Bydgoszcz is not stretched like coastal cities, and with 188 streets with devices, you usually have the nearest locker within a few hundred meters from home.

The city is 224 kilometers from our warehouse. This does not affect the delivery time, as the package goes through the sorting center, not the shortest route, so one business day is the norm here.

How much does delivery to Bydgoszcz cost and when will it arrive?

For a cart total of 49 PLN or more, delivery to an InPost parcel locker is free, provided you pay in advance, and below this amount, it costs 13.50 PLN. You select the locker in the cart before proceeding to payment.

The time of order placement is decisive. Everything you pay for by 17:45 is handed over to the InPost courier on the same business day.

An order paid for on Tuesday before the cutoff usually arrives at the Bydgoszcz locker on Wednesday. Since 245 out of 258 devices operate continuously, after notification, you do not have to wait until morning or check the hours of the facility.

After the courier picks up the package, a separate email with a receipt and a tracking link will be sent. Payments are handled by ING: by card, Visa Mobile, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
