Chaga mushroom, more commonly known as Chaga, is a functional mushroom. For hundreds of years, its fruiting bodies have been traditionally used to prepare tinctures and infusions. To this day, Chaga extracts are valued as a dietary supplement.

Meet the Chaga Mushroom

The asexual fruiting bodies of Chaga mushrooms (specifically, sclerotia) have a unique appearance. They grow primarily on birch tree trunks in northern forests. A mature Chaga mushroom is easy to spot, as its coal-black color contrasts starkly with the white birch bark. The mushroom's irregular shape, resembling a convex, rough growth, is also characteristic. In folk tales describing Chaga's health benefits, it is often referred to as a "birch tumor," precisely because of its distinctive appearance.

The people of Siberia and the Baltic countries used Chaga infusions for a variety of purposes in folk medicine. They were used both as a daily health drink and as a tool for more advanced conditions. In current research, scientists are primarily focusing on assessing the antioxidant potential of compounds contained in the Chaga mushroom.

Chaga Liquid Extract

This extract is obtained from the fruiting bodies of wild Chaga mushrooms collected in the Greater Khingan Mountains in northeastern China and in the forests of Estonia. The collected fruiting bodies are subjected to a double extraction process using alcohol and hot water. This extracts everything that makes the mushroom functional—the full spectrum of biologically active ingredients.

This product isn't your average alcoholic tincture, like many others on the market. Despite the use of alcohol during the extraction process, it's completely absent from the finished product! What you get is an extract suspended in filtered spring water, without a drop of alcohol.

How to use Chaga extract?

Standard methods for consuming Chaga Mushroom liquid include adding it to a glass of clean water or applying it directly to the mouth. Many users apply the liquid under the tongue, holding it there for several seconds, hoping for faster absorption. Due to the lack of alcohol, the liquid is much gentler on the mucous membranes when taken sublingually than alcohol-based preparations.

One portion is 2 ML (2 pipettes) of extract per day.

Spring water, repeatedly filtered, extract of chaga mushroom fruit bodies (Inonotus obliguus (Ach. Ex Pers.) Pilát) 15:1, acidity regulator: citric acid (natural), rowan fruit extract.

Storing the extract

After opening the package, store in the refrigerator.

Our extract, unlike other products on the market, does not contain alcohol as a preservative. This eliminates unnecessary alcohol consumption and provides a more gentle form of administration. To stabilize the extract and protect it against microbial growth, we used natural citric acid and rowanberry fruit extract.

We enclosed the whole thing in Miron biophotonic glass, which allows the properties of the extract inside to be preserved for longer.
